STAGE 1- INTRODUCTION & ESTIMATES

Collision repair refers to the process of restoring a vehicle that has been damaged in an accident. This can include repairing body damage, replacing broken parts, and refinishing the vehicle to its original condition. The cost of collision repair can vary greatly depending on the extent of the damage, the make and model of the vehicle, and the location and expertise of the repair shop.

STAGE 2- REPAIRS & REBUILDS

When a car is involved in a collision, the damage can be minor or extensive. Regardless of the severity, it is important to have professionals assess the vehicle and perform necessary repairs and rebuilds. These typically involve repairing or replacing damaged parts, aligning the vehicle’s frame, and repainting if necessary. Collision repair technicians use specialized tools and equipment to ensure the repairs are completed correctly and according to industry standards.

STAGE 3- PREPPING & PAINTING

When prepping and painting a car, there are a few key steps that should be followed to ensure a professional-looking finish. Firstly, thoroughly clean the surface of the car to remove any debris or contaminants that may interfere with the paint adhesion. Sand the surface to create a smooth and even finish, removing any imperfections or existing paint. Apply a coat of primer to enhance paint adhesion and protect the metal from rust. Highline uses AkzoNobel Sikkens waterborne paints, which is not only environmentally safe, but is considered the finest paint in the world and used exclusively on vehicles like McLaren and Aston Martin.

STAGE 4- REASSEMBLY & RESTORATION

Reassembly and restoration of a car involves returning the vehicle to its original condition or modifying it according to the owner’s preferences. The first step in the process is disassembling the car into its individual parts. Every item is cataloged, examined, and cleaned as needed. Non-working parts that need to be repaired or replaced are taken care of before the reassembly process begins. The restoration process includes repairing or replacing the car’s electrical, mechanical, and body parts.
